Description: This website targets girls and women and provides information, research, and resources for starting a math club for girls. For one math period each week, girls and boys from one classroom are divided and combined with the same sex from another classroom. This site provides tips on how to organize a similar club, research on why such clubs are beneficial, and research results from single sex clubs. This resource is appropriate for all users, particularly for girls and women, because it addresses issues of gender-bias and informs girls and women about activities targeted at them such as summer camps, educational programs, scholarships, internships, professional development, and professional organizations.
