Description: This report, co-authored by Patricia B. Campbell, Eric Jolly, Lesli Hoey and Lesley K. Perlman, was Commissioned by the GE Fund and published in January, 2002. The report gathers data on what really works in increasing under-represented students' interest and success in quantitatively-based subjects and careers. This resource is appropriate for all users, particularly for girls and women, because it was written/developed by a woman and addresses concerns relating to bias and/or discrimination against women, ethnic minorities, and people with disabilities.
