services provided through or obtained from the GSDL.
The GSDL holds copyright for original material created by the GSDL and
by authors specifically commissioned by us. Authors or producers that

their original works; the catalog record that is created to describe
their learning objects is copyrighted by the GSDL.
Except where otherwise specified, you may copy and re-distribute but

threatening, defamatory, an invasion of privacy, infringing of
intellectual property rights or otherwise injurious to third parties or
objectionable and does not consist of or contain software viruses,
political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass
mailings, or any form of "spam." The user may not use false email
addresses, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead as to
origin of any communication, message or other content. The GSDL
reserves the right (but not the obligation) to remove or edit such
content, but does not regularly review posted content.
If the user does contribute comments, reviews, metadata, or other
information, the user voluntarily grants the GSDL and its affiliates a
nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and full right to
use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative
works from, distribute, and display the contribution throughout the
world in any media. The user grants the GSDL or its affiliates the
right to use the name (if any) that the user submits in connection with
such contribution, if the user so chooses. In the case where
attribution is made to the contributor of original material (e.g.
reviews, messages on listservs/email groups, and other comments), the
GSDL will not alter such content. However, contributed metadata
(resource descriptions, subjects, resource types, etc.) may be changed
to enhance resource description and discovery.
To the best of the user's knowledge, use of the contribution by the
GSDL does not violate any intellectual property rights and will not
cause injury to any person or entity. The GSDL has the right, but not
the obligation, to monitor and edit or remove any activity or
contribution. The GSDL takes no responsibility and assumes no liability
for any contribution made by the user or a third party.
